Responsibilities
- Manage and monitor server infrastructure and network performance during night shifts.
- Implement and maintain cybersecurity protocols to meet government compliance standards (FedRAMP, NIST).
- Perform system backups, patch management, and hardware troubleshooting.
- Respond to and resolve critical IT incidents and service tickets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Document technical procedures and maintain accurate system records.
- Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of experience in IT systems administration or network engineering.
- Active Top Secret clearance or the ability to obtain one.
- Proficiency in Windows Server, Linux, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
- Strong knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and firewalls.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently during night shifts.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
