Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain server infrastructure, including Windows and Linux environments, ensuring high availability and security.
- Configure and troubleshoot network devices, firewalls, and VPNs to protect sensitive government data.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement IT solutions that meet organizational goals.
- Monitor system performance and conduct regular security audits to comply with state and federal regulations.
- Provide technical support and guidance to staff members regarding hardware and software issues.
- Document system configurations, processes, and procedures for knowledge sharing and compliance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in systems administration or network engineering.
- Strong knowledge of Active Directory, Microsoft Server 2016/2019/2022, and virtualization technologies (VMware/Hyper-V).
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, or CCNA are preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- U.S. Citizenship required for government clearance eligibility.
