Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough analysis of existing IT systems to identify areas for improvement, optimization, and cost reduction.
- Design, develop, and implement complex software solutions and seamless system integrations to meet government mandates.
- Collaborate closely with government stakeholders, project managers, and cross-functional teams to define requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
- Ensure all technical projects strictly adhere to federal, state, and local compliance standards and rigorous security protocols.
- Mentor junior analysts and provide technical guidance to the development team to foster professional growth.
- Document system architecture, workflows, and technical specifications with precision.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Public Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in IT analysis, system architecture, or a related government sector role.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, or Java, with experience in relational database management systems.
- Demonstrated experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective cross-departmental collaboration and stakeholder management.
- Ability to obtain and maintain necessary government security clearances.
