Responsibilities
- Analyze complex business requirements and translate them into technical specifications and system designs.
- Develop, test, and implement software solutions using modern programming languages and frameworks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, developers, and stakeholders, to ensure project milestones are met.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior analysts and developers.
- Conduct system performance tuning and troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Document technical processes, user manuals, and system architecture diagrams.
- Ensure all solutions comply with state security and compliance standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in systems analysis and software development.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, Java, Python, or .NET.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) is highly preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to state agency sites as needed.
- Clear criminal background check and drug screening required.
