Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain complex IT systems and network infrastructures for city departments.
- Conduct thorough system analysis to identify bottlenecks and propose scalable solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Monitor system performance and security, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior analysts and IT support staff.
- Manage vendor relationships and oversee system upgrades and maintenance contracts.
- Document technical processes and maintain comprehensive system architecture diagrams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (Master's preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Systems Analysis or IT Project Management within a government or large enterprise environment.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, or Java.
- Experience with cloud technologies (AWS or Azure) and virtualization.
- Certification such as PMP, CAPM, or ITIL v4 is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a high-stakes environment.
- Must pass a comprehensive background check and security clearance evaluation.
