Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily planning, execution, and monitoring of transportation and distribution activities.
- Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers (3PLs) and freight forwarders to ensure cost-effective and timely delivery.
- Analyze supply chain data to identify bottlenecks and implement process improvements for greater efficiency.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure inventory accuracy and stock availability.
- Prepare and review shipping documentation, including bills of lading and customs forms.
- Monitor KPIs such as on-time delivery rates, freight costs, and carrier performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field (preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or transportation management.
- Proficiency in supply chain software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Manhattan Associates) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented approach.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
