Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end processing of pension applications and benefit disbursements during night shift operations.
- Conduct rigorous audits of pension records to ensure compliance with federal regulations and agency policies.
- Investigate and resolve complex discrepancies in retirement data within the federal database.
- Provide critical support to retirees and federal employees regarding pension inquiries via secure channels.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive financial and personnel information.
- Collaborate with the day shift team to ensure seamless handover of critical pension operations.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in pension administration, benefits processing, or a related field.
- Experience working in a government or large-scale corporate environment preferred.
- Proficiency with ERPs (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and government benefits systems (e.g., GSAS, FEGLI).
- Ability to work rotating night shifts (e.g., 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM) as required.
- Strong analytical skills with an emphasis on accuracy and attention to detail.
- U.S. Citizenship required for this government position.
