We are looking for a detail-oriented Pension Administrator to join our State Government division in Columbus, GA. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the lifecycle of pension plans, ensuring accurate data processing for thousands of retirees and active employees.

Responsibilities
- Process and verify pension applications, withdrawals, and benefit adjustments for State of Georgia employees.
- Conduct nightly audits of pension records to ensure 100% data accuracy and compliance with state regulations.
- Respond to inquiries from retirees and beneficiaries regarding pension eligibility and monthly statements.
- Maintain and update the central database of retirement assets and beneficiary information.
- Collaborate with the payroll department to ensure seamless integration of pension data.
- Ensure strict confidentiality and adherence to federal and state privacy laws.
- Assist in the transition of legacy systems to our modern pension management platform.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in pension administration, benefits administration, or government payroll.
- Familiarity with the Georgia Retirement System (GRS) or similar public sector retirement plans is highly preferred.
- Strong proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Access) and ERP systems.
- Ability to work independently during the night shift with minimal supervision.
- Excellent analytical skills with a high attention to detail.
- Clear background check required for government employment.
