- Analyze member data and calculate pension benefits accurately in compliance with state regulations.
- Provide expert guidance and consultation to retirees regarding their eligibility and payout options.

- Prepare actuarial reports and assist in the annual budgeting process for the pension fund.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and data integrity for sensitive employee records.
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors to ensure regulatory compliance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in public sector benefits administration or pension management.
- Strong working knowledge of ERISA, CalPERS, and California Government Code requirements.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, SQL, or pension administration software (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to handle sensitive inquiries with empathy.
