Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of federal pension and retirement plan administration, ensuring 100% accuracy in data processing.
- Analyze complex pension data to process claims, contributions, and benefit calculations efficiently.
- Ensure strict compliance with ERISA, FERS, and other federal government retirement regulations.
- Collaborate with HR departments and federal agencies to resolve complex employee benefit inquiries.
- Prepare detailed reports and documentation for internal audits and regulatory reviews.
- Stay updated on changing federal pension laws and legislation to advise management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Human Resources required; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience administering federal or large-scale corporate pension plans.
- Strong working knowledge of ERISA laws, FERS regulations, and federal payroll systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUP) and SQL.
- Exceptional analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and data integrity.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for stakeholder management.
