In this position, you will operate on a night shift schedule, working Monday through Friday from 9:00 PM to 6:00 AM. Responsibilities
- Process and verify pension benefit calculations and retirement applications for state employees.
- Conduct data analysis to ensure compliance with state regulations and internal policies.
- Provide exceptional customer service to public employees regarding retirement inquiries and benefit options.
- Maintain precise records and documentation for all pension transactions and account updates.
- Collaborate with the HR department to interpret and apply pension rules correctly.
- Assist in the reconciliation of pension fund accounts and identify discrepancies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Public Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in pension administration, benefits administration, or state government.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) and retirement management software.
- Strong analytical skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently during night shift hours.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
