Responsibilities
- Lead research and analysis of complex policy issues affecting London and UK governance
- Develop strategic policy frameworks aligned with national priorities and local needs
- Stakeholder engagement with government bodies, industry leaders, and community representatives
- Monitor legislative changes and assess implications for City operations
- Produce high-impact briefing papers and reports for senior decision-makers
- Manage cross-functional project teams to deliver policy objectives
- Represent the Corporation at parliamentary committees and public consultations
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Political Science, Economics, or related field
- Minimum 5 years' experience in policy development within government/public sector
- Expertise in quantitative/qualitative research methodologies
- Deep understanding of UK governance structures and parliamentary processes
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with presentation experience
- Proven ability to manage complex projects and deliver under tight deadlines
- Relevant professional certification (e.g., CIPFA, MPA) preferred
