Responsibilities
- Analyze complex policy issues and draft comprehensive recommendations for city council and executive leadership

- Conduct stakeholder engagement sessions with community groups, businesses, and nonprofit partners
- Monitor legislative developments and assess potential impacts on city operations and services
- Prepare detailed policy briefs, reports, and presentations for public and internal audiences

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Political Science, Urban Planning, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in government policy development or public sector advisory roles
- Expertise in Arizona municipal governance structures and legislative processes
- Advanced proficiency in policy analysis, stakeholder management, and project coordination
- Exceptional written/verbal communication skills with ability to simplify complex topics
- Valid Arizona driver's license and ability to travel citywide for meetings
