Responsibilities
- Develop and implement evidence-based policies addressing housing affordability and urban regeneration
- Lead cross-departmental stakeholder engagement with local authorities, private sector partners, and community groups
- Conduct rigorous policy analysis and economic modeling for major infrastructure projects
- Draft parliamentary briefings and ministerial communications
- Oversee delivery of regional levelling-up initiatives
- Mentor junior policy officers and manage project budgets
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Urban Planning, Economics, or related field
- Minimum 5 years' experience in UK government or public sector policy development
- Expert knowledge of housing legislation and planning frameworks
- Advanced proficiency in policy analysis tools and economic modeling
- Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills
- Proven track record of delivering complex policy projects
