Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive policy recommendations addressing urban housing, economic equity, and infrastructure modernization
- Analyze complex datasets to quantify socioeconomic trends and measure policy outcomes
- Collaborate with agency directors and community stakeholders to implement strategic initiatives
- Prepare executive reports and legislative briefings for City Council and Mayoral review
- Manage cross-functional project teams with $5M+ budget allocations
- Monitor federal/state compliance requirements for city programs
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Urban Planning, or related field
- 5+ years of policy analysis experience in municipal/government setting
- Advanced proficiency in statistical software (R, Python, SPSS)
- Proven track record of implementing successful urban policy initiatives
- NYC government operations knowledge preferred
- Valid New York State driver's license
- Exceptional written/verbal communication skills
