Responsibilities
- Analyze complex policy proposals and draft legislative recommendations for state agencies
- Conduct quantitative/qualitative research and prepare executive-level reports
- Coordinate interdepartmental stakeholder meetings and public engagement sessions
- Monitor federal/state legislative developments and assess fiscal implications
- Develop performance metrics and evaluate program effectiveness
- Present findings to senior leadership and legislative committees
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Public Administration, or related field
- 5+ years of policy analysis experience in government or non-profit sector
- Advanced proficiency in statistical software (SPSS, R, or SAS)
- Proven ability to manage multi-year projects with competing priorities
- Valid Arizona driver's license (required for travel)
- Superior written/verbal communication skills
- Experience with Arizona Revised Statutes (ARS) compliance
