Responsibilities
- Develop and evaluate legislative proposals, regulatory frameworks, and budget recommendations
- Lead quantitative and qualitative research using advanced statistical methods and policy modeling
- Coordinate interagency task forces to implement cross-sector initiatives
- Present findings to executive leadership and congressional stakeholders
- Design performance metrics for policy implementation and program evaluation
- Mentor junior analysts and manage stakeholder engagement processes
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Urban Planning, Economics, or related field
- 5+ years of progressive policy analysis experience in government or non-profit
- Advanced proficiency in statistical software (R, Python, Stata) and GIS tools
- Demonstrated success in drafting legislation and regulatory impact analyses
- Expertise in federal grant compliance and performance management systems
- Superior written and verbal communication skills for technical audiences
- Active Secret clearance or ability to obtain within 30 days
