Responsibilities
- Research and analyze complex urban policy issues across transportation, sustainability, and economic development
- Develop data-driven policy recommendations for City Council and executive leadership
- Coordinate interdepartmental initiatives and stakeholder engagement processes
- Prepare comprehensive policy briefs and implementation roadmaps
- Monitor federal/state legislative impacts and regulatory compliance
- Lead cross-functional task forces on strategic city priorities
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Administration, Urban Planning, Political Science, or related field
- 5+ years of policy analysis experience in municipal/government setting
- Advanced proficiency in statistical analysis tools (SPSS, R, or Python)
- Proven ability to translate complex data into actionable policy recommendations
- Strong stakeholder management and public communication skills
- Knowledge of Ohio municipal governance structures and regulations
- Valid Ohio driver's license and clean driving record
