Responsibilities
- Develop evidence-based policy recommendations for NYC's 2030 Climate Action Plan
- Analyze zoning laws and land use regulations to promote equitable development
- Collaborate with community boards and elected officials on neighborhood revitalization projects
- Lead cross-functional teams on citywide sustainability initiatives
- Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for City Council and Mayoral offices
- Monitor federal/state compliance requirements for urban development programs
- Manage public engagement processes for high-impact policy changes
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Urban Planning, Public Policy, or related field
- 5+ years of government or public sector policy experience
- Advanced proficiency in GIS software and data visualization tools
- Deep knowledge of NYC zoning regulations and land use law
- Proven track record in community engagement and stakeholder management
- Exceptional analytical writing and presentation skills
- Valid New York State driver's license required
