Responsibilities
- Analyze complex homeland security issues and develop evidence-based policy recommendations
- Coordinate with federal agencies, congressional offices, and external stakeholders
- Prepare detailed policy briefs and executive summaries for senior leadership
- Lead cross-functional teams on special projects and policy implementation
- Monitor emerging threats and assess policy effectiveness
- Present findings to high-level officials and congressional committees
- Ensure compliance with federal regulations and reporting requirements
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, International Relations, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of federal policy analysis experience
- Expertise in homeland security frameworks and threat assessment
- Superior written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in quantitative and qualitative research methodologies
- Active Secret security clearance (or ability to obtain)
- Demonstrated experience with stakeholder engagement and coalition building
