Responsibilities
- Research and draft transportation policy recommendations for legislative review
- Analyze complex data sets to inform strategic decision-making
- Coordinate with state agencies and community stakeholders on policy implementation
- Present findings to executive leadership and legislative committees
- Monitor federal and state regulatory changes affecting transportation
- Lead cross-functional task force initiatives
- Develop public-facing policy briefs and communication materials
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Urban Planning, or related field
- 5+ years of government policy analysis experience
- Proficiency in quantitative data analysis tools (SPSS, R, or Python)
- Experience with Washington State legislative processes
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Valid Washington State driver's license
- Ability to obtain Public Trust clearance
