Responsibilities
- Research and analyze complex policy issues affecting Colorado Springs residents
- Develop comprehensive policy recommendations aligned with city strategic goals
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations for City Council and executive leadership
- Facilitate stakeholder engagement sessions with community members and agencies
- Monitor federal/state legislation impacts on local government operations
- Manage policy implementation projects with measurable outcomes
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Administration, Political Science, or related field
- 5+ years of policy analysis experience in government or public sector
- Advanced proficiency in data analysis tools (SPSS, R, or SAS)
- Demonstrated experience with grant writing and compliance
- Strong knowledge of Colorado municipal governance structures
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Valid Colorado driver's license
