Responsibilities
- Research and evaluate complex policy issues across healthcare, transportation, and environmental sectors
- Develop data-driven recommendations through stakeholder collaboration and public hearings
- Draft legislative proposals and administrative regulations compliant with state/federal requirements
- Analyze budgetary impacts and performance metrics for proposed initiatives
- Present findings to elected officials, community boards, and interdepartmental committees
- Manage policy implementation timelines and coordinate cross-functional project teams
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Administration, Political Science, Urban Planning, or related field
- 5+ years of progressive policy analysis experience in government or public sector
- Advanced proficiency in statistical software (SPSS, R) and GIS mapping tools
- Deep knowledge of Florida Sunshine Law and public procurement processes
- Exceptional written/verbal communication with demonstrated report drafting ability
- Valid Florida driver's license and ability to travel to county facilities
