Responsibilities
- Research and analyze complex policy issues across healthcare, education, and economic development sectors
- Develop actionable policy briefs and legislative recommendations for state leadership
- Facilitate interagency working groups and stakeholder engagement initiatives
- Monitor federal policy changes and assess Ohio-specific implementation strategies
- Prepare executive reports and testimony for legislative committees
- Manage policy impact assessments using quantitative and qualitative methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Political Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in policy analysis or government affairs role
- Advanced proficiency in statistical analysis tools (SPSS, R, or SAS)
- Demonstrated success in developing evidence-based policy recommendations
- Strong knowledge of Ohio legislative processes and state agencies
- Superior written/verbal communication with ability to present complex concepts
- Valid Ohio driver's license for statewide travel requirements
