Responsibilities
- Develop and evaluate county policies using quantitative/qualitative research methodologies
- Analyze legislative impacts and recommend actionable strategies to County Commissioners
- Lead cross-departmental task forces on equity-focused initiatives
- Prepare comprehensive policy briefs and executive summaries for public hearings
- Manage $2M+ grant programs supporting community development projects
- Present findings to elected officials and community stakeholders
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Urban Planning, or related field
- 5+ years government/public policy experience with budget oversight
- Expertise in data visualization tools (Tableau/Power BI)
- Proven track record in policy implementation evaluation
- Advanced knowledge of Oregon state/local government regulations
- Valid Oregon driver's license
