Responsibilities
- Analyze complex socioeconomic data to inform policy recommendations for urban development programs
- Collaborate with municipal leaders, stakeholders, and industry partners on implementation strategies
- Prepare comprehensive policy briefs, impact assessments, and legislative proposals
- Monitor federal/state legislation and regulatory changes affecting Philadelphia's economic landscape
- Lead cross-functional projects targeting job creation and small business support initiatives
- Present findings to executive leadership and legislative committees
- Manage grant programs and compliance reporting for federal/state funding
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Urban Planning, Economics, or related field
- 5+ years of policy analysis experience in government or public sector
- Expertise in quantitative/qualitative research methodologies and data visualization
- Deep knowledge of Pennsylvania's economic development frameworks
- Proven ability to translate complex data into actionable policy recommendations
- Strong stakeholder engagement and cross-departmental collaboration skills
- Experience with budget analysis and grant program management
