Responsibilities
- Analyze complex economic data and policy trends to inform state development strategies
- Collaborate with legislators, agency heads, and private sector stakeholders on policy formulation
- Develop comprehensive economic impact assessments for proposed legislation
- Lead cross-functional teams to implement policy recommendations across 95 counties
- Present findings to executive leadership and legislative committees
- Manage grant programs supporting underserved communities
- Monitor federal policy changes affecting state economic initiatives
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Economics, Urban Planning, or related field
- 5+ years of policy analysis experience in government or public sector
- Advanced proficiency in statistical analysis tools (R, Python, SAS)
- Demonstrated success in policy development and implementation
- Strong understanding of Tennessee's economic landscape
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance
