Responsibilities
- Develop and analyze complex policy proposals aligned with City Council priorities
- Conduct quantitative/qualitative research and prepare comprehensive policy briefs
- Coordinate interdepartmental stakeholder engagements and public forums

- Present findings to elected officials and senior leadership
- Manage policy implementation tracking systems
- Mentor junior policy analysts on research methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Urban Planning, or related field
- 5+ years of policy analysis experience in government sector
- Advanced proficiency in statistical software (R, Python, SPSS)
- Proven track record of developing successful policy recommendations
- Strong familiarity with California state and federal legislative processes
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills
- Valid California driver's license
