Responsibilities
- Analyze complex policy issues using quantitative/qualitative research methods
- Develop evidence-based recommendations for Board of Supervisors
- Lead cross-departmental task forces on community priorities
- Prepare comprehensive policy briefs and implementation plans
- Monitor legislative changes and assess county impacts
- Present findings to diverse stakeholders including public officials
- Maintain compliance with state/federal regulatory frameworks
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Urban Planning, or related field
- 5+ years government/public sector experience
- Advanced proficiency in statistical analysis software (SPSS/R)
- Expertise in Sacramento County governance structures
- Proven track record of policy implementation success
- California driver's license and clean driving record
- PHR or SHRM-SCP certification preferred
