Responsibilities
- Analyze complex fiscal policies and recommend data-driven solutions to state leadership
- Develop and maintain comprehensive budget models for key state programs
- Collaborate with agency directors to align strategic objectives with fiscal realities
- Prepare legislative briefings and testimony for Indiana General Assembly sessions
- Lead cross-functional teams on high-impact policy initiatives
- Monitor federal grant opportunities and optimize state funding allocations
- Present findings to executive leadership through executive dashboards and reports
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Administration, Economics, or related field
- 5+ years of policy analysis or budgeting experience in government
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, SQL, and data visualization tools
- Demonstrated knowledge of Indiana state budget processes
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously
- Experience with federal grant compliance and reporting
- Valid Indiana driver's license
