Responsibilities
- Analyze economic trends and policy impacts to inform state development strategies
- Research and draft policy recommendations for legislative review and executive consideration
- Collaborate with state agencies, local governments, and private sector partners
- Develop comprehensive economic impact assessments for proposed initiatives
- Prepare detailed reports, briefings, and presentations for senior leadership
- Monitor implementation of enacted policies and evaluate effectiveness
- Manage stakeholder engagement processes across diverse industry sectors
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Economics, Urban Planning, or related field
- 5+ years of policy analysis experience in government or public sector
- Advanced proficiency in statistical analysis and economic modeling tools
- Proven ability to translate complex data into actionable policy recommendations
- Experience with Tennessee's legislative process and regulatory frameworks
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with executive stakeholders
- Project management certification (PMP or equivalent) preferred
- Knowledge of economic development incentives and programs
