Responsibilities
- Research and analyze complex state policies across healthcare, education, and economic development sectors
- Develop data-driven recommendations for legislative initiatives and regulatory reforms
- Collaborate with agency directors, legislators, and stakeholder coalitions
- Prepare comprehensive policy briefs and executive summaries for senior leadership
- Monitor federal compliance requirements and implement state-level adaptations
- Lead cross-functional task forces on emerging policy challenges
- Present findings to legislative committees and public forums
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Public Administration, Political Science, or related field
- 5+ years progressive policy analysis experience in government or public sector
- Advanced proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
- Proven track record in drafting successful legislation or regulations
- Ohio residency required (per state statute)
- Valid Ohio driver's license
- Clear background check and drug screening
- Experience with Ohio state budget processes preferred
