Responsibilities
- Analyze complex policy proposals and draft legislative recommendations
- Conduct quantitative/qualitative research on urban governance issues
- Collaborate with federal agencies and community stakeholders
- Present findings to legislative committees and executive leadership
- Monitor implementation of enacted policies
- Manage policy development project timelines and deliverables
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Urban Planning, or related field
- 5+ years of government policy analysis experience
- Advanced proficiency in statistical analysis tools (SPSS, R)
- Deep understanding of DC government operations
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with federal grant compliance requirements
- Valid District of Columbia driver's license
