Responsibilities
- Develop and analyze state-level policies across education, healthcare, and economic development sectors
- Prepare comprehensive policy briefs and legislative recommendations for executive leadership
- Conduct quantitative/qualitative research using statistical modeling and stakeholder interviews
- Collaborate with interagency committees to implement policy initiatives
- Monitor federal regulatory changes and assess impacts on Pennsylvania's operations
- Present findings to legislative committees and public stakeholders
- Manage policy implementation timelines and compliance metrics
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Political Science, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years of policy analysis experience in government or public sector
- Advanced proficiency in statistical software (SPSS, R, or Stata)
- Deep knowledge of Pennsylvania's legislative processes and regulatory frameworks
- Exceptional written communication with demonstrated policy writing samples
- Proven experience in stakeholder engagement and consensus-building
- Valid Pennsylvania driver's license and ability to travel statewide
