Responsibilities
- Analyze complex policy issues using quantitative/qualitative research methods
- Develop actionable recommendations for City Council and executive leadership
- Facilitate cross-departmental stakeholder workshops and public hearings
- Manage policy implementation tracking and impact evaluation systems
- Prepare comprehensive reports and executive briefings for decision-makers
- Monitor federal/state legislative changes affecting local governance
- Mentor junior analysts and coordinate intergovernmental partnerships
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Urban Planning, or related field
- 5+ years of policy analysis experience in government/nonprofit sectors
- Advanced proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
- Deep knowledge of Florida Sunshine Law and public procurement processes
- Proven track record of translating complex data into actionable insights
- Superior written/verbal communication with diverse stakeholders
- Valid Florida driver's license (travel to city sites required)
- Experience with Jacksonville municipal government preferred
