Responsibilities
- Develop and implement evidence-based health policies addressing critical public health challenges
- Analyze complex datasets and research to inform strategic policy recommendations
- Collaborate with state agencies, community partners, and stakeholders to advance health initiatives
- Prepare comprehensive reports, briefings, and presentations for legislative bodies
- Monitor policy implementation effectiveness and recommend evidence-based adjustments
- Lead cross-functional projects addressing health equity and access disparities
- Stay current on evolving health legislation and regulatory frameworks
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Public Policy, Political Science, or related field
- Minimum 5 years progressive policy analysis experience in government or non-profit sector
- Expertise in health data analysis, policy evaluation, and quantitative research methods
- Proven ability to develop actionable policy recommendations through stakeholder engagement
- Strong proficiency in policy development software and data visualization tools
- Exceptional written/verbal communication skills with demonstrated briefing experience
- Deep understanding of Colorado's legislative process and health policy landscape
