Responsibilities
- Lead research and data analysis for multi-agency policy initiatives
- Develop evidence-based recommendations for legislative review
- Coordinate stakeholder engagement across 12+ state departments
- Draft policy briefs and implementation frameworks for executive leadership
- Manage cross-functional project timelines with $2M+ budgets
- Present findings to legislative committees and public forums
- Mentor junior analysts on public sector methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Political Science, or related field
- 5+ years policy analysis experience in government/nonprofit sectors
- Advanced proficiency in statistical software (R/Python) and GIS tools
- Expertise in California legislative processes and regulatory frameworks
- Proven track record of implementing equity-focused policies
- Strong quantitative and qualitative research methodologies
- Valid California driver's license for statewide travel
