Responsibilities
- Develop and evaluate policy proposals for legislative review and executive action
- Analyze complex datasets to assess policy impacts and fiscal implications
- Coordinate cross-agency initiatives on equity-focused governance programs
- Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for legislative committees
- Lead stakeholder engagement sessions with public and private partners
- Monitor federal/state compliance requirements and regulatory changes
- Mentor junior analysts on public sector methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Public Administration, or related field
- 5+ years of policy analysis experience in government/nonprofit sector
- Advanced proficiency in statistical analysis software (R, Python, or SAS)
- Demonstrated success with stakeholder facilitation and conflict resolution
- Deep knowledge of Oregon's public finance systems and administrative processes
- Valid Oregon driver's license or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Experience with legislative bill drafting and regulatory impact analysis
