Responsibilities
- Analyze complex socioeconomic data to inform policy recommendations for urban revitalization
- Collaborate with city officials, community leaders, and stakeholders on inclusive development projects
- Develop evidence-based reports on Philadelphia's economic competitiveness and workforce needs
- Manage grant programs supporting small businesses and neighborhood revitalization
- Represent the department at public hearings and intergovernmental forums
- Monitor federal/state legislation impacts on Philadelphia's economic landscape
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Economics, Urban Planning, or related field
- 5+ years of policy analysis experience in government or non-profit sector
- Advanced proficiency in statistical software (SPSS, R, or Stata)
- Demonstrated success in stakeholder engagement and coalition building
- Knowledge of Pennsylvania's economic development programs and regulations
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Valid Pennsylvania driver's license
