Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive policy research and impact analysis for municipal initiatives
- Develop actionable recommendations for city council and department leadership
- Facilitate stakeholder workshops with community groups and industry partners
- Prepare detailed policy briefs and legislative tracking documents
- Analyze budgetary implications for proposed policy changes
- Coordinate interdepartmental policy implementation strategies
- Monitor federal/state regulatory changes affecting local governance
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Administration, Political Science, or related field
- 5+ years of policy analysis experience in government or public sector
- Advanced proficiency in quantitative data analysis tools (SPSS, R, SQL)
- Expertise in Colorado state/federal legislative processes
- Proven stakeholder engagement and facilitation skills
- Professional certification (e.g., CPPA) preferred
- Valid Colorado driver's license
