Responsibilities
- Develop and evaluate health policies using quantitative/qualitative research methods
- Analyze legislative impacts and draft policy briefs for city council and mayoral offices
- Collaborate with community stakeholders to address health disparities
- Oversee implementation of public health programs across NYC boroughs
- Present findings to senior leadership and external partners
- Manage interdepartmental initiatives on chronic disease prevention
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Public Policy, or related field
- 5+ years of policy analysis experience in government or nonprofit
- Expertise in health equity frameworks and data visualization
- Proficiency in statistical software (SPSS, R, or SAS)
- Knowledge of NYC government operations and procurement processes
- Strong writing skills with published policy reports
- Valid NYS driver's license (required for field visits)
