Responsibilities
- Develop and evaluate state policies using quantitative analysis and stakeholder engagement
- Lead cross-departmental task forces for major legislative initiatives
- Prepare executive briefings for cabinet-level officials and legislative committees
- Manage multi-million dollar federal grant compliance and reporting
- Conduct economic impact assessments for proposed regulations
- Mentor junior analysts on research methodologies and policy writing
- Represent the agency at statewide public forums and hearings
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Economics, or related field
- 5+ years of policy analysis experience in government or non-profit
- Advanced proficiency in statistical software (SPSS, R, Stata)
- Demonstrated success with policy implementation and evaluation
- Ohio residency required (OR willingness to relocate)
- Valid Ohio driver's license
- Clear background check and security clearance eligibility
