Responsibilities
- Develop and evaluate public health policies aligned with state and federal regulations
- Analyze complex healthcare data and epidemiological trends to inform decision-making
- Collaborate with legislators, healthcare providers, and community leaders
- Prepare legislative testimony, policy briefs, and implementation guidance
- Monitor federal Medicaid and CHIP program compliance
- Lead cross-functional task forces on emerging health threats
- Manage policy implementation timelines and deliverables
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Public Policy, or related field
- 5+ years of policy analysis experience in government or healthcare
- Expertise in Texas Medicaid/Medicare programs
- Advanced proficiency in statistical analysis tools (SPSS, R)
- Strong written/verbal communication skills
- Experience with stakeholder engagement strategies
- Texas driver's license and clean driving record
- PHR/SPHR or SHRM-SCP certification preferred
