Responsibilities
- Analyze complex state legislation and regulatory impacts using quantitative/qualitative methodologies
- Develop evidence-based policy recommendations for cabinet-level decision-making

- Prepare comprehensive briefing papers and legislative testimony materials
- Monitor federal compliance requirements and state implementation frameworks
- Lead cross-functional projects with budget oversight of $2M+
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Political Science, or related field
- 5+ years government policy analysis experience at state/federal level
- Proficiency in statistical analysis tools (SPSS, R, or SAS)
- Active North Carolina government security clearance
- Proven track record of implementing successful policy initiatives
- Advanced knowledge of NC General Statutes and administrative procedures
