Responsibilities
- Research and analyze state legislation, regulations, and emerging policy trends
- Develop comprehensive policy briefs and recommendations for legislative initiatives
- Collaborate with agency stakeholders to implement strategic policy objectives
- Conduct economic impact assessments for proposed legislative changes
- Present findings to senior leadership and legislative committees
- Monitor federal policy developments affecting Indiana's interests
- Lead cross-departmental policy implementation teams
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Political Science, or related field
- 5+ years of policy analysis experience in government or public sector
- Advanced knowledge of Indiana legislative processes
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (SPSS, R, or SAS)
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with budget analysis and fiscal policy
- Valid Indiana driver's license
