Responsibilities
- Design and execute quantitative/qualitative research on urban policy issues
- Develop actionable policy recommendations for county council approval
- Analyze legislative impacts and regulatory compliance requirements
- Collaborate with community stakeholders and government agencies
- Present findings to elected officials and public forums
- Manage policy implementation timelines and resource allocation
- Produce clear executive summaries and data visualizations
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Urban Planning, or related field
- 5+ years of government or nonprofit policy analysis experience
- Advanced proficiency in statistical software (R, SPSS, or Stata)
- Experience with Massachusetts municipal governance structures
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Project management certification or equivalent experience
- Valid Massachusetts driver's license
