Responsibilities
- Analyze complex urban policy issues and recommend evidence-based solutions
- Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for City Council and stakeholders
- Lead cross-departmental initiatives on sustainability, equity, and infrastructure
- Manage public engagement processes and community outreach programs
- Monitor federal/state regulations and ensure policy compliance
- Develop performance metrics for policy implementation effectiveness
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Urban Planning, or related field
- 5+ years of policy analysis experience in government/nonprofit
- Advanced proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, SQL, R)
- Proven track record in stakeholder collaboration and public speaking
- Deep understanding of Texas municipal governance frameworks
- Valid Texas driver's license
