Responsibilities
- Develop and analyze complex policy proposals for state legislative review
- Conduct quantitative/qualitative research using government databases and stakeholder interviews
- Prepare executive briefings and testimony for legislative committees
- Coordinate cross-agency implementation of new policies
- Monitor federal compliance requirements and recommend adjustments
- Mentor junior analysts on public sector methodologies
- Present findings to senior leadership using data visualization tools
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Administration, Political Science, or related field
- 5+ years of policy analysis experience in government or public sector
- Advanced proficiency in statistical software (SPSS, R) and GIS mapping
- Demonstrated success in developing legislative testimony and reports
- Active Georgia driver's license
- Clear federal background check
- Experience with Georgia state budget processes
- Project management certification (PMP or equivalent)
