Responsibilities
- Analyze complex state legislation and regulatory impacts to inform policy recommendations
- Develop comprehensive policy briefs and implementation frameworks for cabinet-level review
- Coordinate inter-agency task forces to address cross-functional public challenges
- Conduct quantitative research using advanced statistical modeling tools
- Present findings to legislative committees and executive leadership
- Monitor federal policy developments for state alignment opportunities
- Maintain compliance with Pennsylvania Sunshine Act requirements
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Political Science, or related field
- 5+ years of policy analysis experience in government or public sector
- Advanced proficiency in statistical software (SPSS, R, Stata)
- Demonstrated success in drafting legislative proposals and executive orders
- Valid Pennsylvania driver's license for statewide travel
- Clearances required: FBI Background Check and Child Abuse History
- Certified Public Manager (CPM) designation preferred
