Responsibilities
- Analyze complex economic data and trends to inform policy recommendations
- Develop and evaluate statewide economic development initiatives
- Collaborate with legislators, stakeholders, and community leaders
- Prepare comprehensive policy briefs and legislative testimony
- Monitor federal regulations and assess state-level impacts
- Lead cross-functional project teams on strategic initiatives
- Present findings to executive leadership and public officials
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Economics, Business, or related field
- 5+ years of policy analysis experience in government or public sector
- Expertise in economic development, workforce programs, or tax policy
- Advanced proficiency in data analysis tools (SQL, R, Python)
- Strong written/verbal communication and presentation skills
- Experience with Tennessee legislative processes preferred
- Valid Tennessee driver's license required
